I don't see how this gauge has markings for anything other than IAS and TAS - can someone clarify the remark about the multi-engine in the caption?

It might be from a multi-engine aircraft but I can't see why/how the number of engines affects anything. Smidoid (トーク) 20:15, 25 July 2016 (UTC)

@Smidoid: It affects the colored markings of the “V” speeds, as multi-engine aircraft have several additional ones regarding one-engine-inoperative flight. (The red line marks the minimum control speed with the critical engine inoperative, the blue line marks the best rate-of-climb speed with one engine inoperative.) --Mormegil (トーク) 12:03, 26 July 2016 (UTC)

@Mormegil: Now that makes more sense! Perhaps you can clarify this on the caption? I'm not a pilot (obviously) but I'm interested in this stuff and it's vague as is. Thanks for the clear explanation. 82.16.170.111
