Apparent authorization for use

Due to concerns expressed about the legality of displaying the FBI badge ([1]) raised at w:Talk:Federal Bureau of Investigation#FBI badge, I should note that I checked the original download link, and confirm what Fred Bauder said: as of today, page [2] says, "These materials are for your use in publicizing the FBI. No permissions are needed; please just credit the FBI. Click on the links below to download the high resolution images." It links directly to [3], which is listed among the other images without any special warnings. Since the FBI itself says that no special permission is needed to display this image, I think the point is settled, at least for this image. Wnt (talk) 21:00, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
