The permission claims this is out of copyright because it is over 70 years old. This is incorrect, as the actual copyright notice states copyright expires 70 years after the death of the author, and Stephen Reid died in 1948, so his estate should still hold the copyright. (Others of his works are correctly labelled as out of copyright in the US, being pre-1923, but this work is labelled as 1932).
