This map incorrectly states that there was a state of Lithuania in 1097, although it was founded in 1236. Also, Kurzeme (also Kurland or Courland) has not been in its territory until 1561 (to be precise, territory of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth). Also, Livonian, Latgalian, Semigallian and Yotvingian tribes are absent in this map, but included in the territory of Russia. -- 89.191.107.35 09:56, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
