Some notes on this file...

[編輯]

This is based on various images I could find including the one at FOTW. What I'm vaguely certain of is that 2:3 is the accepted ratio and the stripes are of equal height. I'm pretty sure plain "black", "white", and "red" are fine, too, and that the crosses are plain Xes. What I'm not certain of is the ratio of X-to-stripe height (how tall the Xes should be), and how they should be positioned horizontally. If the Xes should be spaced out equally across the breadth of the black stripe, then this file is presently ever-so-microscopically inaccurate in that the leftmost and rightmost black areas (edges) are about a pixel wider than the areas inbetween the stars. ¦ Reisio 00:42, 28 January 2006 (UTC)[回覆]

Oh and the vast majority (two of two :p) of native Amsterdamians/Netherlanditers I've spoken to plus a couple people whose actions I've merely witnessed suggest that this flag might be flown vertically instead of horizontally as it is rendered here (this one, but rotated 90° clockwise). Lately I'm thinking it is indeed flown horizontally (found a photo online of a flag atop some old building in Amsterdam, I think), and that the confusion arises from the various incarnations of the coat of arms of Amsterdam...which is just the flag rotated 90° clockwise (actually it was apparently the CoA that came first). I've heard that the CoA is more commonly seen in Amsterdam, and people just think of it as the flag (why not :p). ¦ Reisio
