Origin

The modern flag of Ostrogozhsk Cossacks is based on the Don Cossacks' Flag. This modern Russian Sloboda-Ukrainian Cossack organization changed the last bar of the Don flag to black because Voronezh and Belgorod oblasts are considered to be parts of the so called Central Black Earth Region of Russia. And the Russians did not notice that the new flag contains a Ukrainian symbol. UeArtemis (留言) 06:36, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
