Zakatala[编辑]

This map is not correct - and in this case it matters as it is widely used. The map - and its derivates - essentially presents (probably unintentionally) Zakatala as part of the Georgian SSR. Upon the dissolution of the Democratic Republic of Georgia in 1921 and the creation of the Georgian SSR, Zakatal (disputed area with Azerbaijan) was assigned to the Azerbaijan SSR and this remained as such since then. This article highlights the dispute was settled as early as 1921 and Zakatala was handed over to Azerbaijan. Therefore, this map that represents the Georgian SSR as of 1922 is not correct.
