Alternative colouring

Following the descriptions given in the literature,{{Information |description={{en|1=Greater Arms of Charles VI, Holy Roman Emperor - Enumeration[1][2][3][4] I am not convinced that the colouring of this coat of arms is correct. In particular:

  • I believe that the lion on element III.4[5] should be black on a gold field (ie the lion as shown on shield element IV.4) as this is the shield of Flanders.
  • I believe that the lion on element IV.4 should be white on a blue background as this is the shield of the Indies.
  • I believe that the eagle in the base (element V.1) should be red on a white background as this is the eagle of the Tyrol.
