According to this gif, the Principality of Rügen is included in the Holy Roman Empire as early as in 1181. This contrasts with the map below and in the text about the Principality of Rügen where it states that Rügen was not included in Pommerania by the time of its anexxation by the Holy Roman Empire in 1181. Only in 1325 did the two territories join. I therefore ask that the borders to Rügen be changed according to the map below. Oslomin (對話) 09:13, 11 August 2015 (UTC) [回覆]

The great master of the so-called "Deutscher Orden" was de facto a Vassal of the roman-german Imperator. De jure he was a regent of a sovereign country. Because West- and East Prussia aren't in international law a part of the Holy Roman Empire. --Gelegenheitsaccount (對話) 01:01, 26 December 2018 (UTC)[回覆]

Sardinia

[編輯]

This map is wrong: Sardinia never fell, de jure or de facto, under the jurisdiction of the Holy Roman Empire. Sardinia was under the Byzantine Empire, and it became more and more autonomous until it became completely independent, with the formation of indigenous kingdoms, called "giudicati". Only in 1420 the last kingdom ("giudicato di Arborea") was defeated, and Sardinia finally fell under foreign domain, under the Crown of Aragon.
