Public domain tag

The Crown Copyright public domain tag on the page had incorrectly claimed that this is a work produced by the UK government, despite the description and the source saying that the photograph was taken by an employee of the German Air Force. Commons:Copyright_rules_by_territory/United_Kingdom#General states that "[t]he author must be a natural person and cannot be a corporation". The work was created on 7 September 1940 but the identity of the author cannot be determined from the sources. Section 21 of the Copyright Act then in force in the UK suggests that the copyright term is 50 years after creation. I have added two copyright tags to the article that are the ones most likely to be appropriate. --Joshua Issac (對話) 17:40, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
Dispute over whether this was an actual photograph or a photomontage

Just a note that historically there has been debate over whether this was a genuine photograph or a German propaganda photomontage, for example at [1] and in its comments The current consensus is that it is genuine [2] 2A00:23C6:148A:9B01:497E:C47B:44C2:694B 13:40, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
