Doubts about location and year of the photo

There are serious doubts concerning the location and the year of the scene showed on the photograph; cf. de:Diskussion:Adolf Hitler #Hitler - Mussolini Bild. --BurghardRichter (トーク) 12:51, 2 October 2020 (UTC)

Hitler and Mussolini met three times in Munich: in 1937, 1938 and 1940 (br.de). The photo must have been taken in 1940 because

• the building on the left (Zentralministerium) was completed in 1939 (stadt-muenchen.net),
• the car lights are covered, which was a requirement of the Verdunklungsverordnung (darkening decree) from 1939,
• Mussolini wears the same hat as in this photo from 1940, while this photo from 1938 shows him with another hat. --Friedolf (トーク) 03:58, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
