Perhaps it would be nice to make the yellow and green versions darker. The percieved intensity of blue is especially low compared to red and green and therefore the brighness of the characters is very inconsistent. The best way would be to first select pure yellow, red and blue, convert to Lab, change the brightness of yellow and green, and convert back to RGB.

Many people don't like dark yellow; perhaps it would be better to use red or orange if the resulting colour is dissatisfactory. Shinobu 16:36, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
