Sorry but this isn't a Möbius strip. The Möbius strip has only one boundary.

Original description[編集]

Möbius strip, created with povray

Unfortunately, this is not a picture of a Möbius strip. Notice that the two edges are colored red and green. A Möbius strip has only one edge. -- Dominus 13:39, 22 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Unfortunately, Dominus is wrong, a Möbius strip has only one side. It's a example of a non-orientable surface. A surface has to have at least two edges. --bhgic

Dominus is right. The surface is orientable, it is homeomorphic to an annulus. It is not a Möbius strip :-) Ylebru 08:35, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[返信]

It is not a Mobius strip. If you start at one point on the surface of a Mobius strip, you can trace a line along the strip, traversing both "sides," and arriving back at the starting point. You cannot do that with this structure. (PGA 2008)

-- yes, absolutely! This is NOT a Mobius! it has 2 surfaces and 2 edges, whereas a Mobius only has 1 edge and 1 surface. (Aug. 2012)
