Hello @Liaon98: , I noticed that there are two districts named 國華里 on your map (n and p)?

fixed. I'd got conscription a week ago, I can't reply or edit wikipedia immediately for a month, sorry. In addition, these maps I made are based on "編印臺灣全圖及各級行政區域圖" (Print Taiwan's entire map and at all levels of administrative map) project of Dept of Land Administration, Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of China. However, the project is very old, which was launched and finished in 2007. The villages of Taiwan were changing every year, the newest maps can be found in The National Land Surveying and Mapping Center website. I don't have such time to maintain those hundreds of maps, so I gave up making Taiwan village maps until I find a quick way to draw them. Sorry.--Liaon98 我是廢物 12:41, 11 December 2017 (UTC)[回覆]
Hello @Liaon98: , thanks a lot. I did not know that the villages are changing so often. I already made a map of Taitung based on your nice map and planned to do the same for Hualien. It would really be a helpful and worthwhile project to construct and maintain maps for every City, rural or urban township (市, 鄉, 鎮) in Taiwan. And who else should do this if not the Wikipedians from Taiwan? But of course, this cannot be managed by a single user. Perhaps you can find like-minded users who who want to participate (after your service)?
The most elegant thing would be, if the MOI or other institutions would release their data (maps) under a Creative Commons license such that these could easily be used directly in Wikimedia Commons. E.g., this is fortunately the case for some official pdf maps in Germany and Austria.
Thanks for the The National Land Surveying and Mapping Center hint. I will have a look at it – although sometimes my biggest problem is the lack of knowledge of Chinese letters ... --Furfur Diskussion 19:25, 12 December 2017 (UTC)[回覆]
Of course not every village changes every year, actually few changes per year, but it's usually barely to notice those changes. Most changes won't be reported by news or other media, and only announced in the district or township websites. The 編印臺灣全圖及各級行政區域圖 can be found here: [1], but the website says "Copyright". Some Taiwanese Wikipedians said that these contents released by ROC government can all be uploaded to Wikimedia commons using the template PD-ROC-exempt, such like: File:Taoyuan-mat-H.PNG. However, other Wikipedians didn't agree with them. I don't know whether 編印臺灣全圖及各級行政區域圖 can be uploaded to Wikimedia commons or not. In addition, 編印臺灣全圖及各級行政區域圖 contains too many information, such like roads, parks, and settlements. I think it is not suit for showing administrative divisions. The newest maps can be downloaded here: [2], but it's not in PNG or JPG format.

Thanks a lot for this information and thank you for your work that is highly appreciated in various other language WP versions. I think it would also be a worthwhile task to unify the styles of the location maps of Taiwan's townships. Currently there are various styles in use, like the blue-gray ones, green-ray ones or the yellow-red SVG images. --Furfur Diskussion 14:20, 30 January 2018 (UTC)[回覆]
