How about we change the colours? I think they are misleading. As this shows adoption of a standard one colour should be used with different shades to represent the progress towards full integration. So maybe dark blue for the Euro, a dark green as a general colour and two shades of the same green for the rest?

We need to be careful to keep the use of the IBAN and the use of the Euro separate. I do however agree that the colours could be changed. How about:

• Dark blue - Uses the Euro (therefore in SEPA and IBAN registered with SWIFT)
• Light blue - In SEPA, but does not use the Euro (therefore IBAN registered with SWIFT)
• Dark red - IBAN registered with SWIFT, but not in SEPA
• Light red - IBAN available, but not yet registered with SWIFT. Not in SEPA either.
