@MichelBakni: I'm sorry, but this diagram is indecipherable. There are several issues:

  1. what is the sequence of events? There is no indication of this at all.
  2. which the source and which is the host?
  3. what are the black line segments?
  4. how does the host at 200.100.10.1 send the message to router 200.100.10.100, and how does this relate to the black line segments?
  5. nothing is labelled. What are the clouds, what are the switches, what are the routers, etc.? There is no legend as there is in, for example, this diagram [1]
