On this map, Great Blasket Island, just to the west of the Earldom of Desmond and northwest of Mac Carthy Mor, is shown in the same red colour as The Pale, indicating that it was held by the English king. Is this correct, or should the island in fact be in the same blue colour as the Earldom of Desmond (indicating that it was held by an Anglo-Irish lord) or even green (indicating that it was held by native Irish)? It seems a bit odd that the domains held directly by the English king would be an area on the central part of the Irish east coast PLUS a small island to the west. If it's a mistake, could somebody please correct it? If it's not a mistake, I think it should somehow be pointed out that the English king also directly held that little island to the west. /Ludde23 ^{D C} 10:28, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

Notifying @This, that and the other, Elassint, The Illusional Ministry, and Maksim: who are associated with uploading / modifying this image: the boundary as originally shown between the lands of MacCarthy Mor and Earldom of Desmond, has been lost ever since this edit: so anyone of you might want to restore the same.
