Iron Curtain in Southern Europe[编辑]

Nice map, but aren't you missing the border between Bulgaria and Greece / Turkey in the south? I know that Eastern European people were shot on that border when they tried to sneak into the Western countries.--Wutzofant (talk) 19:05, 15 November 2010 (UTC)[回复]

I have modified the map. You've right, this was a part of the Iron Curtain too.
Nevertheless, the opposition between Greece and Bulgaria was weaker than in Central Europe, because of the old rivality of Greece & Bulgaria against Turkey. Sémhur (talk) 14:06, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[回复]

Year of the map[编辑]

Hello. Could you please indicate the year of the map? Immediately after WWII, Yugoslavia was to the east of the Curtain, but then gradually moved to the west (opened the borders to the west and put guard on the border to the east). I also see that the entire Austria is to the west. What about the Free Territory of Trieste (which was dissolved in 1954)? Perhaps this also changed elsewhere. --TadejM (t/p) 05:56, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[回复]
