Should the old version be uploaded as a separate file?

A higher-resolution version of this image was uploaded over an older version, which is great; however, the newer version is cropped, and notably doesn't display the leftmost section of the image, which contains the relevant colophon that dates the book, as noted (and translated) in the image description. Should the old version be uploaded as a separate file to maintain its uncropped nature, with the colophon? 104.246.222.223 19:34, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
