Error in Little Blue?

[編輯]

I'm afraid that there may be an error on this map in the upper reaches of the Little Blue.

The map shows the river arising in central Kearney County, Nebraska, and running southeast into southwestern Adams County, where it makes a sharp turn northeastward. I think this initial stretch is actually Sand Creek, which, according to the USGS topo map at Acme Mapper and the Kearney and Adams county maps at the Nebraska Department of Transportation site, originates near Minden in central Kearney County and follows that course into Adams County. Per those maps and the Franklin and Webster county maps, the Little Blue originates in southern Kearney County, runs southeast to cut across the northeastern corner of Franklin County, bends back northeast and north across the northwestern corner of Webster County, then runs into Adams County, to its junction with Sand Creek.

I don't have access to the data on which this map was based, but could it please be double-checked and, if necessary, corrected? Thanks. Ammodramus (留言) 12:17, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[回覆]
