Karelia

Karelia wasn`t colonised by Novgorod and it is controversial to say that they were dependant of Novgorod. Novgorod first chronicle mentions Novgorod conquering but that was in 1270. Somekind of year should be also added to the "Lands dependant..." part. The map should be altered concerning these issues? --Velivieras (對話) 18:00, 16 August 2017 (UTC)

Full and empty circles in legend

What do the full and the empty circles represent? I know they are cities, but why the different symbols? Slavic vs. non-Slavic majority? Abandoned vs. still existing? Can someone shed a light (and potentially add the explanation to the legend)? 134.100.35.1 12:33, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
