In public domain?

Are the images taken during the 1929 expedition in the public domain? The author of this photo is Евгений Леонидович Кринов, who took it in 1929 before Kulik left on the expedition. See [1]. He died in 1984. Earthsound (talk) 19:14, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[回复]

  • According to my limited understanding of Russian copyright law, it is public domain in Russia (and the U.S.), but as the author died in 1984, not public domain in countries where it's life of author + n years. Earthsound (talk) 18:12, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[回复]
