Purple vs Red

Seen the recent changes and while I appreciate we got at last the blue stripe on the fly as it should have been (source: FOTW - Historical Flags of Sulu Sultanate ) I still have some questions: - is there a functioning link to the website cited? I can't access it - do we have additional sources to corroborate it? - can we accept a simple "I think it was actually red"? My (debatable) suggestion is marking it as an alternate reconstruction until confirmed.
