Belize[編輯]

Belize, where half of the population speaks Spanish natively (and thus having more Spanish than English-sepakers), clearly is a part of Latin America, regardless of its somewhat anachronistic official language policy. 84.57.87.153 07:16, 16 June 2014 (UTC)[回覆]

Quebec and Northern New Brunswick[編輯]

Quebec and Northern New Brunswick are inhabited by French-speaking descendants of French colonists, and it would be a double standard to include French Guiana(which is a French overseas department) while excluding Quebec and Northern New Brunswick. Some reasons---debunked 1. Quebec speaks French------French Guiana also speaks French. 2. Metisage, or marriage between Natives and French Colonists, was fairly low in French Canada and Acadie(in which New Brunswick was a part)-------Many South American countries are also largely inhabited by descendants of European immigrants. 3. Quebec has a parliamentary system------Parliamentary system does not make a country non-Latin American, as Brazil also used to have a Parliamentary system between 1961 and 1963. 4. Quebec is a part of Canada------French Guiana is a part of France. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 113.88.113.193 (talk) 13:13, 1 October 2019 (UTC)[回覆]
