Change Colors[編集]
Please change the color of Colombia in the map to dark blue. In Colombia voluntary euthanasia is legal.
Adding assisted suicide legal[編集]
I think it would be useful if a new colour for "Assisted suicide legal" was added, similar to the legality map for Europe (currently displayed on the right). Jdee4 (トーク) 08:59, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
Review[編集]
I've been checking the laws in Latin America, and I discovered that although most countries forbid active euthanasia, passive euthanasia is not mentioned (not regulated nor outlawed), so colours of the file should be reviewed, as the red colour should only be used when the country forbid both practices, active and passive euthanasia.
In the other hand, maybe it would be a good idea to separate both practices, and leave this map just for active euthanasia, using just the dark blue and grey colous. Another file could be created with the name "Legality of passive euthanasia.svg".
Finally, it would be very helpfull to add sources to the laws and sentences of each country. When the journalistic information is reviewed, there are many mistakes related to the situation in each country and about the definition of each practice, mixing active euthanasia, assisted suicide, assisted dying or passive euthanasia.
