I have a request.

I am the one who took this picture.
This is a group photo of commercial characters from different organizations in different regions made for different purposes.
It is rare and unprecedented for multiple different rights holders to authorize the use of their commercial character photographs all at once.
This is a valuable photo that can be shown not only as a Moe character but also as an example of various commercial Moe mascot characters and various local Moe characters.
There is probably nothing better than this photo.
At least it doesn't seem to exist in Wikimedia Commons.
Please take good care of it and make effective use of it.

日本語で失礼します。まず始めに、写真中の各キャラクターの権利者各位と、撮影者のSetoMonamerさんに感謝致します。写真ページや本ディスカッションページの言語には「en - English」が設定されていますが、写真のキャラクターは日本生まれですので、私が日本語でコメントを書き加えておきます。これまでの議論や他の資料も読み返し、この写真に関する内容については概ね理解したつもりです。

さて、通常、複数の組織にまたがる版権キャラクターの集合写真をコモンズへアップロードするには、権利上の障壁が多すぎます。たとえ撮影した版権キャラクターが1体のみであったとしても、版権元から直接デュアルライセンスを得られた例は多くないからです。本写真には、活動地域や運営事業者さえ異なる5体もの版権キャラクターが鮮明に写っているにも関わらず、版権元よりコモンズで使用できるレベルの十分なライセンスが与えられています。よく許可が下りたと思います。なによりも一個人が趣味で制作したオリジナルキャラクターや同人キャラクターではない、実際に商利用されている版権キャラクターの集合パネル写真を堂々と使用できる恩恵は非常に大きいです。実例としても示せますからね。私は長らくコモンズで様々な写真を拝見してまいりましたが、撮影者さんが仰っているように、このような写真は前例が無いのではないかと思います。

少し話が逸れますが、キャラクター文化とは縁遠い方のために先の議論でも示した内容を転記すると、中央に写っている茶色のキャラクターは、あらゆるマスコットの全国的な人気ランキングで、4300体以上ものキャラクターを抑え、首位に輝いています[1]（2021年12月17日時点）。この結果は決して特異な例ではなく、他のサイトでも同様に格付されている事が見て取れます[2]（2021年12月18日時点）。先の議論では日本郵便から当該キャラクターの記念切手が発行された点と、雑誌の表紙や特集記事に当該キャラクターが現れたソース等も示しましたが、本旨から離れてしまいますので、これ以上は割愛します。このくだりでは、当該キャラクターが「マスコット業界で一定の評価を得ている」事だけご理解頂ければ十分です。

それでは話を戻します。それほどのキャラクターを抱える組織が、複数の姉妹キャラクターを含む、いわば「知財の塊」とも形容しうる写真について、このようなライセンスを認めたケースには初めて遭遇しました。撮影者さんが上の文末で、本写真を大切に扱って頂きたい旨と、キャラクターの権利者各位へ向けた謝辞を述べておられます。あらためて本写真を拝見すると、色味や露出も素晴らしいですし、ブレも無く、白飛びもしておらず、この手のパネル写真に写り込みがちな反射やゴーストも見当たりません。撮影者さんは当該キャラクターのファンとの事ですし、お好きなキャラクターの写真である以上、撮影からアップロードへと至るまでにも相当なご苦労をなさったであろうことが想像できます。ネットで同じパネルを撮影した写真を探してみたところ、何枚か発見に至ったのですが、どの写真も失礼ながら、これほど秀逸ではありませんでした。他の写真が悪いのではなく、この写真が格段に綺麗なのでしょう。ライセンスのみならず、クオリティ面でも極めて有用で貴重な1枚に相違ないと思われます。記録を確認すると、この写真のために、権利者の皆様や撮影者さんのみならず、多数のユーザー様、そしてコモンズおよびウィキペディアの管理者の方が少なくとも2名以上ご助力下さっているようです。大切に使わせて頂きます。この写真に関わった全ての皆様に感謝を申し上げます。長文失礼致しました。

About the license of copyrighted works excluding this photo

I was asked if I could negotiate with the Monami Gentsuki project steering committee to use this character.
But negotiations over copyright are not easy.
When I tried to upload this photo, I made a fairly selfish request to the Monami Gentsuki project steering committee.
It is painful to convey selfishness over and over again.
I wouldn't be able to do anything.
Please negotiate directly with the Monami Gentsuki project steering committee regarding the use of copyrighted works other than this photo[3].

But getting a license is not easy.

Moe characters made in Japan are more difficult to obtain licenses than characters from other countries.

I will leave only the photo of this characters.

You don't have to bother uploading.

This character is No.1 in the popularity ranking of Japanese mascot characters and local characters.

There are few famous local Moe characters comparable to the Moe characters in this photo.

Most of the images and photos of Moe characters that exist in Commons are characters created by uploaders as a hobby and are not real examples.

This photo is perfect for explaining Japanese pop culture.
