What is this map supposed to show?

According to file name and English as well as German descriptions the map should show the location of the United Kingdom in the EU in 2016. Neither Gibraltar (which is just a en:British Overseas Territory and also claimed by Spain as their territory, as already mentioned by another user) nor the Channel Islands and Isle of Man (both are en:Crown dependencies) are part of the United Kingdom. Therefore it is not showing what it was intended to show originally. Sure, there are EU legislations that apply in the mentioned territories, but that is just a part of the EU laws and they are definitely not part of the UK and not part of the EU. With the same reasoning, one would have to include Switzerland although it is not part of the EU. I would suggest that the file is reverted to the version from 05:37, 16. Jun. 2016 because that was the last one that was actually showing what descriptions and file name are saying. --Gamba (トーク) 12:45, 25 November 2018 (UTC)

Sovereign Base Areas
