Incorrect for Londonderry

The area shown for Londonderry County Borough is incorrect; it shows Derry City Council area, which includes not only the former County Borough but also most of the former Londonderry rural district

• this 1935 map (JPG) shows the County borough created under the Local Government (Ireland) Act 1898 enclaved with Londonderry rural district
• this 1974 map (ZIP of JPG) shows the much larger district created under the Local Government (Boundaries) Act (Northern Ireland) 1971, which approximately follows the rural district boundary
