Identification

This photo was uploaded as "Mahasher", then specified to Tor putitora by a later editor. Unfortunately, we can not request further info from the uploader as he is deceased. What is clear, however, is that this looks nothing like a mahasher/mahseer. There are three species in Pakistan (Tor putitora, Tor tor, Neolissochilus hexagonolepis). Although I'm quite sure it is not a mahasher/mahseer, I am less certain about its true identification as a number of species look very similar to this. However, I strongly suspect it's a Cirrhinus.
