I have trouble with the use of "migration" to describe the movement of humans out of Africa. It implies that they knew where they were going. The diagram also suggests that these were journeys. A trip of around 20,000 miles in 10,000 years is hardly a journey or a migration and a population was still left I Africa. I liken the process to a growth of bacteria in a Petri dish. Humans were the bacteria and the world was the Petri dish. I suggest the use of the word "expansion" as being more explanatory. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 92.23.226.129 (talk) 16:36, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[回覆]
