Your supposed credentials are irrelevant. You cannot alter existing files. You should certainly not be altering scans of paper maps: altering photography to change history is a truly Soviet practice! GPinkerton (留言) 20:14, 27 January 2022 (UTC)

The factual accuracy of 此地图 or the file name is disputed. Reason: Map containing some inaccuracies (Russians of continental southern Ukraine missing, Jews are semitic, the peoples of Daghestan aren't not all Caucasians, etc - see the source Le Million geographic encyclopedia, La Grange Batelière Publ., 1970, art. "URSS", vol.5, p.249) but it isn't possible to fix this, because since rules, it would be a manipulation.

There are equally wrong maps from the 1680s about the Roman Empire - but while we can judge these historic cartographers on how much they got wrong, we can only produce our own and more correct maps of today. --Enyavar (留言) 10:59, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
