The low-res version was the first one I found at NASA. I used it in the article of the English language edition. Shortly later I found the hi-res version, and used it in the article of the Germany edition. However, I didn't replace the low-res in en because I like the way NASA has processed the image, it's nicely cropped for use in a biographical article IMHO. That's why I moved it to commons later.
