Northern Military District

The Northern Fleet area of responsibility is only a part of the area of the new "Unified Strategic Command »North«. All territories north of the Arctic Circle are governed by the "Unified Strategic Command »North«. This unified Strategic Command will establish the 5th Russian military district, the "Northern Military District", in the near future. All territories east of the Ural mountains are currently jointly governed by the Central and Eastern military districts together with the Northern Fleet (via the Unified Strategic Command »North«) in preparation for the Northern Military District. This has been reflected by adding the striped areas to the map which together with the area of the Northern Fleet will become the area of responsibility of the "Northern Military District". This transition is a smooth and continuous one, it is happening right now - and it will be finished before 2020.

I disagree with your actions. The map you uploaded does not represent current situation. I will revert this changes and recommend you to add your image as different map - "Possible Military districts in 2020". AlexWelens (留言) 15:04, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
