The boundary between Auckland and Waikato shown here has two problems:
- The w:Hunua Ranges were transferred from Auckland to Waikato from 1 November 2010; and
- The Awhitu Peninsula (between Manukau Harbour and the Tasman Sea) is shown as part of Waikato, which as far as I know has always been incorrect.
A map showing the new boundary can be seen here. The same problems afflict File:New Zealand locator map blank.svg, File:New Zealand locator map blank nobkgnd stdcolours.svg, File:New Zealand locator map blank cropped.svg, and File:New Zealand locator map blank opaque stdcolours.svg, while only the first problem affects File:New Zealand Regions.PNG, File:NZ Locator Blank.png, File:Position of Auckland Region.png, File:Position of Waikato Region.png, File:NZ-Auckland plain map.png, File:AucklandRegionPopulationDensity.png, File:WaikatoRegionPopulationDensity.png, and File:NZTerritorialAuthorities-Waikato.png (although the last has other things that need updating too). --Avenue (talk) 11:22, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
