Shouldn't the blue stripe be on the hoist (right) side?[編輯]

According to the text at Saudi Arabia: Ensigns and jack, "the naval ensign [is] the national flag, with an additional blue vertical stripe at the hoist with a yellow astrolabe centered on it". Unfortunately, the image shown there (and currently here) shows a different design, if one assumes the flagpole (hoist) is on the right, which it would need to be for the sword to point from hoist to fly as specified; it shows the blue stripe on the fly, not the hoist side.

(If one assumes the flagpole/hoist is on the left, i.e., that we're looking at the reverse side of the flag, the image is almost correct -- but the sword should be pointing the other way, away from the hoist.)--ScottMainwaring 00:37, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[回覆]
