Copyright analysis

  • The copyright law of NK excludes news items from copyright protection: Article 12: "Documents for state management, current news or information data shall not be the object of copyright unless commercial purpose is pursued.". KCNA is not a commercial profit-seeking enterprise, and it is devoted to publishing news. Therefore, its contents are not subject to copyright.
