Choosing colours in picture

[編集]

the file name of this one is very confusing, because the bright part of the map shows Nilo-Saharan languages and there are many maps with almost the same name, that are fundamentally different and there the yellow part is Niger-Kongo languages: File:Niger-Kongo.png and File:Niger-Congo.svg:

Niger-Kongo.png (Niger-Congo.svg is the same)

I already found one big mistake in an article because of this and I suspect that there are more. I am not sure what I am supposed to do about this.--Tired time (talk) 23:17, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[返信]

I think this image has its first goal in showing the spreading of Niger-Congo languages, that are named Niger-Congo A and Niger-Congo B in picture. For this reason I suggest tu use the first version, where the two kinds of yellow correspond to the two Niger-Congo languages. Yellow is the brighter colour in picture, so it should mark the more interesting data (Niger-Congo languages). Looking to the second version, one could think that the image has the goal to show the Nilo-saharan languages spreading. Luccaro 15:31, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[返信]
I reverted to the original version. But note that File:Niger-Congo.svg (or translations) should be used instead. Jon Harald Søby (talk) 15:58, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[返信]
