Non-standard pronunciation
[编辑]In Dutch phonology, two identical consonants in a row merge and are realized as a single one. This even applies across word boundaries: ik krijg is pronounced the same as ik rijg, and dit trekje the same as dit rekje. See section 20.9 of Collins & Mees, The Phonetics of English and Dutch (referenced in the Wikipedia article Dutch phonology). Thus, uittrekken and uitrekken should be homophones. The pronunciation with two distinct /t/ sounds is non-standard. 50.196.138.183 21:41, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
