United Kingdom[编辑]

The early May bank holiday, while the date seems to have been (potentially?) chosen in reference to IWD, isn't officially related, and it can fall on May 1st, so the UK should be down as yellow - we don't have any other holiday called Labour Day, so I'm not sure why this was changed to green? @Stephanie538: Thanks for the question, I was copying across an edit someone had applied to the superseded File:Observance_of_International_Workers'_Day.svg and should have noted that in the edit summary.
The UK's May bank holiday seems like it's neither yellow nor green under the current key text; Another public holiday on 1 May reads like it's saying that there is always a specific non-IWD public holiday on 1 May in that country.
That sounds like we either need to add a new colour to the key, or should reword the text description for yellow or green. Belbury (留言) 18:12, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[回复]
It should be grey. The Government had a Pre-Consultation on moving the early May Bank Holiday back in 2011. See also this debate in Parliament back in 2004, on the motion ‘That leave be given to bring in a Bill to make St. George's Day a public holiday in England in place of the May Day public holiday’. – Kaihsu Tai (留言) 21:04, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[回复]

Trinidad and Tobago[编辑]

@Lord Belbury: Trinidad and Tobago's labour day is celebrated on June 19th so the map needs to be updated to reflect this. T&T's description should be changed to: "No public holiday on 1 May, but Labour Day on a different date." Joshuarshah (留言) 21:57, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[回复]

Poland[编辑]

In Poland, 1 May is the Labour Day, so I'm wondering why is it yellow? Mszynisz (留言) 19:37, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[回复]
