Ordovician?

Is this beautifully rendered scene really meant to show the Ordovician? At the very end of the period, there are remains of algae and sores that indicate mosses. The picture however show upright plants, which can only mean vascular plants. The big, yellow-brown sporangia on some of them looks like a Cooksonia. Vascular plants did not appear until mid or late Silurian. I suggest the author of this scene changes the name and description of the file.Petter Bøckman (talk) 09:24, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[回复]
