This map is inaccurate as a representation of the situation of March 1919.

1. The German-Polish border shown here did not exist yet. It was defined only by the Versailles Treaty of 28 June 1919, and practically established on 20 January 1920. Rather, the map should show, in parallel with the Polish-Bolshevik front line, the German-Polish demarcation line established after the Poznan Uprising of December 1918.

2. The map shows already the later Polish-Soviet border as established much later, by the Treaty of Riga of 18 March 1921. On a map showing the situation of March 1919, nothing except the then front line should be visible, in order to give a true account of the still undecided war situation.
