naive question: how can the date for this be 1905-15? It looks to me like a very modern colour photograph. OK, I take it back. I checked at the LOC, and it is a modern colour composite from three monochrome negs. ————

Anybody know what that jacket is called, every picture I've seen of Cossacks' they're wearing one.
