Hello, I think you have forgotten Austria in the map. Indeed, the country has recognized the State of Palestine since 1988, but not appears in dark green on the map. (the country is between Switzerland, Italy and Germany). jenroule

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_recognition_of_the_State_of_Palestine says otherwise... СЛУЖБА (talk) 21:41, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[回复]

"Recognition" term is incorrect

[编辑]

Per the table in the article itself, many countries do not maintain diplomatic relations with Palestine. Regardless of recognition, the table in the main article has a column labeled Diplomatic Relations and there are numerous "No" entries. — 以上未签名的留言是由该用户加入的: Wingedbeaver (留言 • 贡献) 20:30, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[回复]

Agreed. These states do not have diplomatic relations with the State of Palestine. They have some sort of informal relations with other Palestinian organizations. As the name of this image suggests, this image is for recognition of the State of Palestine only. Diplomatic relations belong on File:Palestine relations only.png. I will revert. Mexico does not recognise the State of Palestine

[编辑]

I don't know who started the rumour Mexico recognises Palestine as a sovereign state, but it's false.

Today, May 24 (2024), the current President of Mexico has declared that his government is still considering (via the Mexican Secretariat of Foreign Affairs) if Mexico should officially recognise Palestine as an independent and sovereign state (or not). Here are the sources (in Spanish, his own words):

The State of Palestine has an embassy in Mexico City, but this was a unilateral move from Ramallah (considered as such by the current Mexican Secretariat of Foreign Affairs last year). Again, the source in Spanish (where the Mexican Secretariat of Foreign Affairs also states that MEXICO DOES NOT RECOGNISE THE STATE OF PALESTINE even if both countries have good diplomatic relationships):

Please change the map. Aleqc (留言) 18:46, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[回复]

It was an error probably on the UN English website; it was not a rumor. They removed the PDF, but I still have it.[1] (Page 4, number 83). Mystrixo ✉️ 17:24, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[回复]

About removing The Czech Republic from the map

[编辑]

Isn't it that The Czech Republic did recognize Palestine on November 18, 1988.? [2] (page 19, number 24).

But I am not sure. Mystrixo ✉️ 17:14, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[回复]
