Przemysl wasn't under Polish control in 1037 because it was under Kyivan Rus' control after Yaroslav's March on Poland in 1031. Yaroslav ever founded the city of Jarosław in 1031. ZxcvU (トーク) 22:29, 16 January 2023 (UTC)

Yotvingia did not extend so far South as the updated map version depicts. The rivers Supraśl and upper Narew, to which Supraśl contributes, shall be considered roughly the Southern border of Yotvingia. On the other hand the map under-records its reach in the West. Yotvingia reached up to Angrapa river and Lake Mamry (note, both geographical features are missing from the map, and shall be north to Śniardwy lake, itself located at the end of "GALINDIA" text). — smyru (トーク) 13:53, 14 March 2023 (UTC)

This map is completely wrong in many perspectives. The dimension of the land controlled by the Yotvings is twice bigger than it really was. To be delated from our resources. Wulfstan (トーク) 19:40, 16 March 2023 (UTC)

I don't know what archaeological research the Lithuanians are conducting in the areas where the Yotvingians tribes lived, but the research of the Archaeological Museum in Suwałki shows that the Yotvingians did not live further south than beyond the Biebrza river. Periodically, they occupied areas up to the Narew and Supraśl rivers. The Yotvingians never had settlements south of the Narew river and never reached the Bug river. In the west, the border of the Yotvingians probably reached a little further west as far as the border of Lake Mamry. The problem, however, is that it is difficult to distinguish the settlement of the Yotvingians from other tribes of the Balts. It is easier to distinguish their settlement from the settlement of the Slavs. As for the boundaries of Yotvingia, the wikipedist of Smyru is basically right. Therefore, this map in this respect well shows the reality shown in archaeological research. As for Przemyśl, it can be agreed that a correction is needed there.
