The sculpture depicted in this image was installed in a public location in the United States (i.e. "published" for purposes of U.S. copyright law) in 1959. Under U.S. law applicable to that year, works published without a copyright notice are deemed to be in the public domain. On 10 November 2009, User:Werewombat determined in person that the sculpture does not bear a copyright notice as of that date.
