Using oblique angle views of planetary orbits is in bad form. It is highly misleading and is unfortunately the cause of most Americans believing planets revolve in ovals. Richard LaBorde (talk) 23:00, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[返信]

An ellipse is an oval, although an oval is not necessarily an ellipse. So, planets do orbit in ovals. Computergeeksjw (talk) 16:02, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[返信]
