The individual in the photograph has been identified as a U.S. Army Soldier or Joint Special Operations Group; however, there is strong evidence that suggests the individual is an Australian Special Forces operator since the person is wearing an Australian flag and the sidearm is an H&K USP which is standard equipment in many Australian Special Forces units and not standard equipment for U.S. Special Operations personnel. This observation was noticed on the English Wikipedia site: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Heckler_%26_Koch_HK416&type=revision&diff=800583566&oldid=800577489 and upon further examination, I agree the user's assessment. If there is any question or doubt the individual is an Australian Special Forces operator, I would like to discuss this matter on this talk page further, even though the photographer (Staff Sergeant Kwado Frimpong) has described the person as U.S. Soldier (1st Special Forces Group) and Joint Special Operations Group personnel.
