This graphic image was created in order to have a high-quality, high-utility psychrometric chart. It was created in Adobe Illustrator and exported as a Scalable Vector Graphic.
The data in the chart was derived from existing psychrometric charts, one of them traceable to the Carrier Corporation (Catalog Number 794-001, dated 1975).
The chart is a graphical depiction of a physical phenomenon, namely the heat energy of a mixture of air and water at a given pressure. This heat must be measured, it cannot be calculated. Models of the heat of an air/water mixture exist; they attempt to agree with the measured physical data as well as they can. Anyone who can refer to an authoritative measurement of this quantity will be able to create this chart themselves.
