The notes on Queensbury UndergrounD station are a little inaccurate on the opening date. It was actually opened by the Metropolitan Railway on 10th December 1932. At that time it consisted of a halt with two wooden platforms and, as far as I know, no form of shelter for passengers. It wasn't until after the LPTB was formed on 1st July 1933 that plans were made to build the current station, which opened on 16th December 1934.
