This is not really an SVG

It's an SVG file that contains one large "data:image/png" that's just a copy of the old PNG. That's high resolution, but not actually arbitrarily scalable.

If someone wants to fix it, it would be nice to use the same positions and colours as File:SI_base_unit.svg,rather than rearranging the units. 71.41.210.146 15:08, 28 December 2015 (UTC)

Error: there must be no arrow from kg to A

As pointed out in de:Diskussion:Internationales Einheitensystem, the arrow pointing from kilogram to Ampere must not be there -- Wassermaus (留言) 20:01, 16 October 2018 (UTC)

Sorry, Cms metrology, I saw your comment to late. Since the current diagram was simply wrong, I replaced it by the old version of 18 may 2015, which lacks some minor improvements but has the big advantage of being correct. I have enhanced the description (english language only) to clarify the meaning of the arrows. -- Wassermaus (留言) 18:49, 17 October 2018 (UTC)

Version of 4 Jan 2021 is less good

The new version that was uploaded on 2021-01-04 is no imprevement. Still worse: there are serious disadvantages.

• characters were changed to font with serifs => however this makes it less easy to read, especially in small size pictures
• subscript "Cs" was replaced by "cs" => this is utterly wrong. Caesium has the symbol "Cs" with uppercase C
• the subscripts were changed from upright to italic font => this is wrong, too
